About the Pavilion

A small gallery of one-of-one jadeite, run by one person, on the idea that real jade should be shown honestly and priced so you can actually own it.

What we are

Jadeite Pavilion is a small online gallery. Every piece is natural jadeite, and every piece is the only one of its kind. It is run by Jadeite Pavilion Hub, a sole proprietorship registered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, selling since 2024 and shipping worldwide. There is no showroom. The same person photographs each piece, writes its description, and packs it for you.

We are not a luxury boutique, and we do not try to be. Pieces here start from around $18. That is possible because we set stones in silver rather than gold, and sell directly instead of through a shop's markup. You are paying for the jade.

What a real jade bangle should cost

Grade A only

Everything here is Grade A: natural, untreated jadeite, exactly the colour and translucency it grew with. We do not sell Grade B (bleached and resin-filled) or Grade C (dyed), at any price. If a piece you bought from us is ever tested by an independent accredited gemological laboratory and turns out to be anything other than natural Grade A, we refund you in full. There is no time limit on that.

Where the stones come from

Only two places on earth produce gem-quality jadeite, and we buy from both. Myanmar (Burma) is the traditional source, known for vivid greens and lavender. Guatemala tends toward deeper forest and blue-greens, and is often better value for similar quality. We name the origin on every listing rather than calling it all "Asian jade".

Why we show the flaws

Most jewellery photos are taken to hide things. Ours are taken to show them. Each piece is shot in daylight without filters, and what is in the stone - cotton (棉), stone lines (石纹), uneven colour - is written down and visible in the photographs. If a piece has a crack or surface wear, we say so on the listing.

It probably costs us some sales. But jade that looks flawless and evenly coloured at a low price has usually been treated, and the marks you can see in ours are the reason to trust that it has not been.

Is Jadeite Pavilion jadeite genuine?
Yes. We sell only Grade A jadeite - natural and untreated, never bleached, polymer-filled, or dyed. Every piece is backed by a lifetime authenticity guarantee: if a piece is ever tested by an independent accredited gemological laboratory and found to be anything other than natural Grade A jadeite, we refund it in full.
Where does the jadeite come from?
From the two sources of gem-quality jadeite: Myanmar (Burma) and Guatemala. The origin of each piece is stated on its own listing.
Why is the jadeite affordable if it is real?
Price in jadeite is driven by colour, translucency and size, not by whether the stone is genuine. We keep prices attainable by setting stones in silver rather than gold and selling directly rather than through a boutique markup, so what you pay for is the jade itself. Pieces start from around $18.
Why do the photos show cotton, lines and colour variation?
Because they are real. Natural jadeite carries cotton (棉), fine stone lines (石纹) and colour variation, and we photograph every piece in natural daylight without filters so you see it as it is. Visible cracks or surface wear are disclosed in writing on the listing. Flawless-looking stone at a low price is usually treated.
Can I see a piece before buying?
Yes. There is no showroom, but we will film additional inspection videos of any piece before you buy - torchlight translucency, natural daylight, indoor lighting, or a 360-degree rotation. Email us the piece reference and we will send them.
Does Jadeite Pavilion ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide from Malaysia. Orders are shipped tracked in discreet, secure packaging. Shipping rates and delivery times by destination are on the Shipping and Returns page.
Are the pieces one of a kind?
Yes. Every piece is carved from a single stone and is the only one of its kind. Once a piece sells it is not restocked.
