Why Sizing Matters
A jadeite bangle is a single, continuous ring of stone. Unlike a gold or silver bracelet, it cannot be opened, clasped, or resized. If it is too small, it will not pass over your hand. If it is too large, it will slide off and risk shattering on the floor.
The right fit should require a little effort to slide on.snug over the knuckles, then sitting comfortably on the wrist with room to move but not slip.
How to Measure Your Hand
for the Perfect Bangle
Tuck your thumb.
Bring your thumb to touch the base of your little finger, as if you were making your hand as narrow as possible.this is the widest point the bangle must pass over.
Wrap a string.
Wrap a piece of string (or soft tape measure) snugly around the widest part of your hand in this position. Do not pull tight.just snug, with no gaps.
Mark and measure.
Mark where the string overlaps, lay it flat, and measure the length in centimetres. This is your hand circumference.
Find your size.
Divide by π (3.14) to get your minimum inner diameter. For comfort, add 1–2 mm. Match this to the size chart below.

Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Measure in the afternoon.hands swell slightly throughout the day.
- If you are between sizes, size up. A slightly loose bangle is safer than one that is too tight.
- Round bangles (圓條) sit differently from flat bangles (扁條). Round bangles need about 1–2 mm more clearance.
- Apply a small amount of hand soap or lotion to help slide the bangle over your knuckles.
- New to jadeite bangles? A comfortable fit means the bangle can rotate freely on your wrist but cannot slip over your hand without effort.
