We sell only natural Grade A jadeite
Every piece in the Pavilion is Grade A - 100% natural jadeite whose colour and translucency are exactly what nature produced. We never sell B Jade (chemically bleached and polymer-impregnated) or B+C Jade (bleached, filled, and dyed), no matter how convincing the colour looks. If a piece bought from us is tested by an independent, accredited gemological laboratory and found to be anything other than natural Grade A jadeite, we refund you in full - see our Authenticity guarantee for how it works.
Natural inclusions are disclosed, never hidden
Real jadeite grew in the earth over millions of years and carries the marks of that origin. We show them to you rather than hide them:
- Cotton (棉) - soft, cloud-like patches inside the stone that give natural jadeite its depth.
- Stone lines (石纹) - fine, hair-thin veins, like the grain in marble. These are not cracks.
- Colour variation - genuine jadeite is never one perfectly flat tone.
These are natural characteristics, not defects. A piece described as "flawless" at our prices is almost always treated, or not jadeite at all.
Our photos are taken honestly
We intentionally photograph inclusions and natural characteristics rather than filter them out. Every image is shot in natural light and designed to represent the piece truthfully: cotton clouds, stone lines, colour variation and all. Our goal is to help you understand the jadeite you are purchasing.
