What is included
This Christmas, a qualifying order comes with a gift, and spending more adds the next one rather than replacing it. There are four levels: a sewing-machine keychain over $88, a Christmas keychain set over $188, a yellow-star keychain over $200, and a piece of jadeite chosen by hand over $300. The levels are the value of the jadeite in your basket, before shipping.
The gifts are free, they are packed with your piece, and each was set aside in a small quantity. When one runs out we remove it from the offer rather than quietly substitute something else.
Why we publish the millimetres
A charm photographed on its own has no scale. On a screen it can look like a pendant; in the hand it is smaller than a postage stamp. We would rather you knew that before it arrived than after, which is the same reason every product page here states cotton, stone lines and colour variation plainly.
So here is each gift at its real size. The figures are the charm itself and do not include the clasp, which adds roughly another 15 mm.
The sewing-machine keychain
An enamel sewing machine with a gold-tone frame and a row of small clear stones along the wheel, in white or turquoise. It is the smallest of the three.

At 14 mm across it reads as a detail rather than an ornament, which is what makes it wearable on a bag every day without announcing itself. Included free on orders over $88.
The Christmas keychain set
A set of enamel Christmas charms - a house, a bell, a tree and a reindeer - each on its own gold-tone clasp.

The charms vary slightly because the shapes do: a reindeer is taller than it is wide, a house is close to square. Treat the range as the honest answer rather than a single figure. Included free on orders over $188.
The yellow-star keychain
A yellow enamel star with a gold-tone edge and a painted face, and the largest of the three charms.

Square in its proportions at 18 mm, so it carries a little more presence than the other two. This is the smallest quantity of the three. Included free on orders over $200.
The jadeite gift, over $300
The top level is a piece of natural Grade A jadeite, chosen by hand for your order. We show it wrapped, and that is deliberate: the piece is selected for your order rather than taken from a stocked line, so a photograph of one would promise an item that may not be the one you receive.

What we will say plainly: it is a genuine jadeite item, not a sample, not an offcut, and it is covered by the same lifetime authenticity guarantee as anything else we sell.
What a 15 mm charm actually suits
Charms between 13 mm and 18 mm have a narrow range of good uses, and it is worth being straight about them.
- A zip pull on a jacket, a purse or a weekend bag. This is where they work best.
- A bag charm clipped to a handle loop, where the clasp does most of the visual work.
- A marker on a keyring, so one set of keys is told apart from another by touch.
- Not a pendant. They are enamel on plated metal, not jadeite, and they are not made to be worn against the skin.
How the levels stack
The levels add up rather than replace each other, so an order that reaches the top includes every gift below it. You can see the current levels, and which gifts are still available, on the Christmas gift page - that page reads from the same record the shop does, so it is never out of date with what we can actually send.
