A Ping An buckle (平安, peace and safety) pendant in natural, untreated Grade A (Type A) jadeite. The buckle, or ping an kou, is the circle of peace and safety - a quiet, protective form traditionally worn to wish the wearer a smooth and settled path. This small stone is notably translucent with a cool grey-green tone, and its highlight is a distinct blue floating flower (piao hua, 飘花) drifting within the jade, paired with the natural cotton texture that marks authentic jadeite.
