Multi-Colour Jadeite Cabochon Bracelet

- Sterling silver (S925)
Five oval jadeite cabochons on a 190mm sterling silver (S925) bracelet: two icy white, two green, one warm honey yellow, with the colour shifting across the set - which is the reason to wear them together rather than something to apologise for. Natural Grade A (Type A) jadeite, untreated, with an independent lab report. One thing worth pointing out because you cannot check it yourself: three of the five cabochons are set with closed backs, so those three cannot be held up to a light. That is ordinary jewellery construction, and it is also exactly where a careless seller would put a weak stone - which is why we would rather point at it than let you wonder. The two icy white cabochons are open-backed and will glow straight through. Natural cotton (棉) and fine stone lines (石纹) run across the set.
Measures 190mm. The stone is translucent. It carries natural cotton (棉), fine stone lines (石纹) and natural colour variation. Grade A jadeite from Myanmar (Burma), set in sterling silver (s925).
This bracelet features two transparent icy white cabochons and three cabochons with a covered back. The yellow stone has a burned color, while the white stones are icy. There is a noticeable colour shift across the stones.
It is normal for every natural jadeite piece to carry 包容: fine stone lines (石纹), cotton clouds (棉), or slight colour variation. They are nature's signature in a genuine, untreated stone, not defects.
What are cotton, stone lines & floating colour? →- No visible cracks.
- Smooth, polished surface with no chips or wear.
- Translucency: Translucent.
- Natural cotton clouds (棉). Soft cloudy patches inside the stone. A hallmark of genuine jadeite.
- Fine stone lines (石纹). Hairline veins, like the grain in marble. These are not cracks.
- Natural colour variation. Real jadeite is never one perfectly flat tone.
